Jason Munn Posters |
I've accomplished just about everything I'd planned too this week. I've began sketching out initial Ideas for the NHS project, and i'm pleased with how that is developing. Although the themes of Clinical Photography are quite narrow and constricting, i'm pretty certain I might be onto a winner with my idea, but I need to work out the best way to refine my design. I'll write a post possibly sometime next week documenting that project.
I've also decided upon a new project as already posted. I'm going to create a poster (or set of) for the 'Conqueror Typographic Games 2012'.
I've also worked through my lecture notes this week and written about 3 of the topics in a little more detail, as required in the module, theres still a couple more to do this week. I thought that this might be a little dull, but I managed to get into it and made the best of it, and I learned a few new things which is always a plus.
Finally, for this week, its more or a less a continuation of last weeks projects:
1. Develop and possibly finalise the NHS Logo.
2. Write my proposal for the Typographic Poster Project.
3. Begin planning my essay for Contextual Studies.
4. Start wading through my digital skills screenshots, and annotate them.
Another busy week, but thats good, in a way.
And finally, because this is by far the most boring thing I put on here, I thought i'd try and make things slightly more tolerable by sticking some work I like at the top. The man that designed those posters is called Jason Munn and his by far and away my favourite Graphic Designer right now. He makes primarily music posters and he does it just how I would, if I was that good. Great, witty ideas, great illustrations, colours, typefaces. Oh, and he screen prints everything. Great guy.
