I'm quite protective of my Retreat Logo. It was my first final piece whilst on this course. However I was never totally happy with it. I'd used what I thought was kerning on it whilst in development, but I was never fully aware of the ability to change the spacing between individual letters. Now I know how to do this, I felt the need to back and see how it could have looked.
I still took a few go's to get it right, but I think its really improved the logo. The problem was that half the name was in Helvetica Regular, and the other in Light. So the kerning had to be a little different for both typefaces, but I think i've just about managed it.
I also hope at some point to recreate my 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' cover as a screen print, as had I more time, i'd have liked to have attempted this.
